Pogies

Post by gator »

My family and I will be at St. George Island next week and I was wondering, how is the best way to catch Pogies and where. Any information would be a big help.

I have not seen the 1st one this year, I hope they show up very soon.

Look for the birds diving on the bayside, use your castnet.

All you can catch in a cast net around Little Saint George Island, West Pass, and all the way past Indian Pass. Stained brown water

You need to go at night, use a light, a burlap sack and a stick.
