6/26

Post by Littoral »

Two hours starting at first light & caught a bunch of good fish.
I had to cover a lot of territory but found something most everywhere I went.
JIgs, topwater, & some CT because of all the floating grass.
Trout really cooperated with about 10 of those, all legal with a few +20.
Big Ladyfish and Bluefish (also big) mixed in, 2-3 each of those.
Caught 1 very nice flattie and finished with 11 reds, all slot up to 26". Redfish are brutal. :D
I don't usually carry on yelling like I'm at a football game when I'm kayak fishing
by myself but I had some serious fun this morning. :-D
Tarpon soon.

When I hook a good one I like to yell"Jump Trout". Except on tournament days. Then I don't want them to jump, just come to the net nice and easy.
