can my rod be fixed?
My 6' 6" spinning rod broke without warning. I went to make a cast and it snapped right between the last two guides. The last 3 inches of the rod, and the last guide went sailing a good 25 yards, along with the other stuff that I actually intended cast. I saved the broken part.
Can this rod be salvaged or repaired?
It's factory direct from chaos rods in Lake Worth. Wonder if I should ask them?

If you weren't a gator you'd probably get more responses.... You can buy the end eye, file down the tip of the rod and super glue. I've done that numerous times. But it can't hurt to call the company either. Good luck!!

CAll the company and Capt Keyser, the reason he didnt get many responses is because most figure if he's got enough sense to root for the Gators, He's probably already figured it out!!!

If you just replace the tip, the action will never be the same. The best way to repair your rod is to remove all the guides and reset them. You can go to mudhole tackle, they have a spacing guide that will help you figure out the correct location. As far as thread, you can purchase nylon rod thread our use standard sewing thread, just double wrap and finish with epoxy. It will take you at least two hours to redo all the guides.
Re: can my rod be fixed?
I'd contact the manufacturer first, and see what they're willing to do.
After that I'd replace the rod. I wouldn't like the action after snapping the tip off.
