It seems there is no winner. We voted them into office and now they raise property taxes. We need to get out and VOTE these people out of office. If you have not registered, and are a resident of Leon county, you can register on-line. Please register and get out and make your vote count.

If you are new to the area, or have relocated within Leon County within the past six months,
It is easier to register on line than it is to register at the polls. If you relocated in
Leon County, please update your voter registration to reflect your new precinct.

I sent them all a e mail condemning their increase. I cited their increase on my property in the past year that went up 400% from previous years.
Property near me sold for $60,000 per acre a couple years ago. They increased my taxes based on $4500 per to $60,000 per. My property is not for sale and will never be for sale in my lifetime. It will be handed down.
One of the people who bought at $60k went for re-sale immediately. It is still for sale.
I informed all of them except for DePuy I will vote against them at re-election time.
If your neighbor buys a new Mercedes it does not make your 6 year old Dodge worth $80K.

You are right MJ. Vote out all incumbents that voted for the tax increase.
