Econfina 07-19-08

Post by Welby »

A friend of mine and his brother went fishing with me Saturday. We tried shallow water early and worked our way out as the morning went on. The brother seemed to be the only one doing much, boating a couple legal trout while my friend and I could only find the shorts. Fished from 2' to 12' and loaded up about 1:30PM. We tried topwater, jigs, and jigs under cajun thunders. Did catch a few Blues which were fun and I had about a 4' shark on for a while before he cut my line. Had fun and it was great to be out there agian.........Can't wait till next time...

Good to see you back on the water, Welby! We look forward to seeing you (and maybe even get a Skeeter sighting) at an NFGFC tourney here in the future.
