More Scallops at St Marks

Post by bman »

We have a friend visiting with us so we headed back down to St Marks for some more scalloping.
Jessi, My wife, was her nanny in Atlanta when she was 6months old. Now she is 8. She ran the boat after we left the channel.

On a side note- I changed props on the engine- dropped the pitch and went from 20 mph to 25mph!
We ran out to the same area as last week. the scallops are so thick it was easy to pick up a limit.

The girls got their share also...

Lauren did great in the water- she even had us stop on a sand bar for another swim before we got to the ramp.

Took us less than an hour to get our six gallon limit.
It took a few hours to get the boat cleaned up and clean the scallops.
We ate some more for dinner last night. A simple pasta dish that was great.
Another fantastic trip to the big pond.
