MY FRIEND ROY JONES CARRIED ME FISHING TO A PRIVATE POND THIS MORNING ABOUT DAYLIGHT. WE CAUGHT 10 BASS IN ABOUT 3 HOURS, MOST WERE IN THE 2-3 # RANGE BUT OLE ROY GOT INTO A NICE FIVE POUNDER JUST BEFORE WE LEFT TO GO HOME. THE CHOICE BATE WAS THE TORPEDO ALONG WITH DEVIL HORSE AND A SMALL RAPALLA. ROY CAUGHT THE BIG BASS ON A CHARTRUESE JERK WORM FISHING IT DEEP. WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND WAS BACK HOME BY 10:30 AND DIDN'T BURN A GALLON OF GAS. THANKS ROY , I WILL BE READY TO DO IT AAGAIN ABOUT SAT. MORNIN.
PA THE OLD MAN OF THE SEA AND THE POND
Nice trip, Pa. I've been doing real good on the bass here lately in a pond about 2 miles from home. Went there this morning and fished about an hour, caught 3 nice ones about 1.5-2 lbs. Caught mine on bullfrog shad culprit worms off the bottom. Had 2 of 'em for supper.
