Took the day off from work to take my nephew and father in law fishing. Well.....it was HOT and floating grass was everywhere. We caught on a consistent basis shark, ladyfish, shark, lizard fish, shark, shark, shark. It was frustrating because grass was everywhere, we had to run out about 9-10 miles to find deeper water in order to catch what we did. Ended the day with 3 keeper rock bass and 1 keeper trout. I think I am going to wait a few weeks and let it cool down. It was fun to be with them on the water, but I have had much better days. My 16 year old nephew had never been salt water fishing and all he wanted to do was catch a shark. Mission accomplished!
I took a picture of everyone that he caught and they all looked exactly like this one......
Call me cuz, you can go out with us. The cabin is always a cool 68 degrees and the beers are even colder! Good times with family, you can't buy that kind of fun. Do you not work anymore? Fishing on Wednesdays is a luxury!
