The Wife wanted to go to the beach, and I wanted to go fishing. So we loaded up the truck and headed to St. George Isl. Put in about 10 and started out throwing a Capt Mikes’ spoon, a jerk shad and an orange Skitter Walk around the oyster bars. The Skitter Walk ended up being the ticket. Caught 2 mid slot reds and this nice 26.5 incher. Off the water at 1.

Nice red's Bill. That's one of my favorite yak spots. The bar side of the channel towards the island tends to hold some good flatties as well.

Sounds like a good weekend to me
