Spear Fihing Tourney

This is to notify anyone in the Pan Handle & Big Bend area who is interested in coming to the Spearfishing Tournament planning meeting! The date is Monday, March 4th @ Blue Water Scuba on Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee, FL.

The meeting is at 7:15 and we at Blue Water will be providing pizza and refreshments for the meeting so come on out and share your input!!!!!

Kamen, I hope you will stress trophies and not the money to keep this fun...seems like when money gets involved it brings out the worst in people.

OK here is the skinny,
The spearfishing tournament is April 20-21 rules & entry forms can be found at Coral Reef Scuba, Blue Water Scuba & the Moorings Marina. There is alot of folks entering so join in the fun..

Just to give some quick info on the tourney...

5 catagories:
*Grouper- 1st prize 14% of all entry fee money collected!
2nd place 5% of all entry fee money collected

*Snapper- 1st place same as above (14%)
2nd place same as above second (5%)

*Hog Snapper- 1st same as other 1st priz(14%)
2nd same as other 2nd prize(5%)

*Amberjack- 1st same (14%)
2nd same (5%)

*Cobia- 1st same (14%)
2nd same (5%)

*****Overall Biggest fish (of one of the above 5 catagories) an additional 5%

Dates: Saturday, April 20th (enter water as soon as sun rises!)
Sunday, April 21st (weigh in at St Marks or Moorings @ Carrabelle between 2:00 and 4:00 pm - have to be in weigh in line by 4:00pm with your weigh in sheet turned in)

pickup entry forms at Blue Water Scuba or Coral Reef Scuba in Tallahassee or Moorings @ Carrabelle.

**Entry fee is $40.00
