August 9, 2008 NFGFC Tournament Results
We had 20 teams compete in our tournament. A very good turnout for August.
Congratulations to Kieth Waldrep and Bobby Ryan. They Had 11.26 pounds, as well as the big trout, weighing 4.43 pounds
Congratulations to Carol Heston. She brought a 5.94 pound red to the scales and won the redfish pot.
Congratulations to Casey Cook. I don't know how, but he managed to catch a sea robin and walk away with the "Badcock and More" mystery fish prize donated by Jay Evans (Thanks, Jay). His 0.24 pound sea robin was worth $300.

Re: August 9, 2008 NFGFC Tournament Results
Congrats to the winners. I took some buddies from work on Saturday and asked them if they would like to enter just for kicks. (they've never fished a tournament) They politely declined and off we went. One of the guys caught a 26" red that weighed 6.25lbs on J R's scale......
He could have had the redfish pot.
Just told him about it, and think I ruined his Monday.
Can't win if you don't enter.

BD. Take your 5th place money and buy a legal measuring stick.
The one you have could wind up costing you $5000.00.
