shell point, sat. in the rain.
well, against common sense, we went out of shell point sat. morn hoping to catch some trout for dinner. no such luck.
some good shorts on pumpkin/greentail b.a. and a few on gulps under the cork. thought theyd be up shallow in the rain and falling tide. no. all fish were out at the stake line roughly in front of pattty's island in 4 to 6ft. it was a good time but very very wet. lol.

Too bad the trout didn't cooperate for you. Still, a slow day fishin is much better than a good day workin.

true. it was also nice to be out there with hardly anyone else. cant say i blame anyonee though. the rain and wind was annoying and steady.
