Wow, I been tubing thru there many times. We are going there in October. Hope they do not have too much damage...

Ok , Atlanta, quit pissing and moaning, here comes your water ! I'd like to know how much Lanier goes up after all the creeks and rivers empty into it !

Lanier won't go up any, they are letting it out as fast as it is rushing in! :smt076

I hope they didnt get too much damage in Helen. That place was hit pretty hard a couple years ago by a tornado.

i was there a last month for the 4th.. we went tubing on the river and it was about 1ft at its deepest and the tube would barely float i bet it would be fun now.. hope they dont get to much damage the place is really nice.

Has anyone heard how much Lake Lanier actually has actually risen on account of the storm?
