I think someone felt sorry for me Average water temp from 30 to 50 foot was around 54 deg, the talk on the radio was the fish bit early and I would guess that they were just turning back on when I had to leave "2:45"

Went out to 54 foot trolling and got not a single hit, trolled back in to 35 foot and caught my only Groupa "26"'s" in 43 foot about 6 minutes before I had to leave and get the kids off the bus I think someone felt sorry for me Average water temp from 30 to 50 foot was around 54 deg, the talk on the radio was the fish bit early and I would guess that they were just turning back on when I had to leave "2:45"

Two other things I forgot to mention, I caught two 12" Black Bass on the Strech 30 in the same area as the Groupa I also was sorta checked by the man out near the Wakulla Reef, I say sorta cause he was in a 50 to 60 foot cutter and his feet where about 10 foot above my head 
He just ask if I had caught anything and about my safty equipment and went on his way without looking at anything 
Course they had that "what's that damn fool doin out here" look on their face also
