In this very boat of his own custom interior design.

Let me just say that this is the most well laid out boat I have ever seen. Stowage for every necessary, and some not so necessary, thing(s). We put in at a location I have been asked not to disclose at about 6:30 this morning and fished until about 3:00 in the afternoon before beginning the run back to the ramp. Never was there anything left lying around loose on deck except my cold drink residing on the lunch table. Everything had a place. Knowing what I now know, next time I will pack more efficiently for this type of set up.

Tin-Can put us on reds on topwaters shortly after leaving the ramp and never let up. I don't know how many fish we caught. We didn't keep a tally. The species we caught the most of was trout, followed by reds, and with the usual assortment of characters, catfish and ladyfish making a periodic showing, and two flounder jumping in on the action. We started with reds on the flats in the morning. We finished with reds along the shoreline in the afternoon. With a few hours break in between times to get a solid lock on the speckled trout for a later date. Most of the trout were caught on a jig under a Cajun Thunder. The reds didn't care. They hit topwater, She-Dog and Skitterwalk, they hit 7M MirrOlures, they hit spinnerbaits and spoons.

Without a doubt a banner day with great company. :D

We put in at a public ramp along the coast. :-D

No, really I don't have a problem with telling folks where I fish, but this time I was a guest. The host, TC, his truck, his boat, his fuel, all I did was take up space on the rear deck and work the landing net :D , has a tournament coming up next weekend and asked me to not divulge where we were.

TC did the pedaling, gas and brake. :-D
I don't have a bike geared low enough for the motor, to tow this boat.

Charles and I had a good day. We caught fish steadily, throughout the day.

As Charles said, I was looking for trout for next week's tournament. My intent was to cover a lot of water. We did.

Early morning was the end of the falling tide. I expected the bite to be slow until the tide turned. The first place we stopped has produced some decent trout in the past. We picked up 1 trout....................and several reds. We moved on to spot 2. No trout....................................and several reds. We didn't get on a consistent trout bite until mid day. But when they turned on it was almost every cast.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, Charles. It was a pleasure to have you aboard. Can't wait to do it again.
What was I supposed to do today?
