Took the kids fishing on Sunday for some "baiting the hooks" fun. I didn't think the bite would be all that great with very dark brown water on an outgoing tide, but I was wrong. The first and only spot we anchored up on id one of my redfish holes and immediately started catching fish. Aliya and Jaden both caught several slot sized reds, black drum, and sheepshead. We fished and caught steady for a few hours, and headed for the hill before it got too hot. Great day of fishing and great company!
She doesn't look to impressed he on the other hand has a twinkle in his eye that says FFJOAC (Future Fishing Junky Of America Club) canidate.
Pretty little convict there is just something wonderful about catching & eating Sheaphead Chicken of the sea. It is a crying shame what you have to go through to clean them.
Hey that would make a great topic nothing but kids fishing posts and who evers kid has the biggest smile takes the prize!
