9/9/08 I went back.
I went back to the area where Chalk and I fished Saturday's tournament. I wanted some more of that redfish action.
It was totally different from Saturday. The wind was out of the east at about 100 mph. And the entire area looked like chocolate milk. But there were still a few fish in the area. I managed 6 reds and 7 trout, all on topwater.
Back on the trailer at 1, cause I was tired of being wind blown.

What was I supposed to do today?

Pa, as long as I go slow, it's dry. It's a flat bottom boat, but does better than most. Lets just say I can live with it a little rough riding, to be able to go as skinny as that boat goes.FUTCHCAIRO wrote: HOW DID THE NEW BOAT HANDLE IN THE STIFF WIND?

Sounds like a good trip to me....topwater action in dirty water gets an A+!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Very nice job. Do you mind if I ask what color topwater you were using in the dark water?
As someone else said... beat the heck out of my Tuesday.
