Minor truck issue

Post by Atticus »

Probably just unleashed the karma gods by assuming this is a minor issue but here goes:

This thing on my truck became a victim of an encounter with a mechinized, automatic car wash.

1) What is this thing called?

2) Where can I get a new one installed?

They are called wind deflectors. Any auto parts store can order them for you an may have them in stock. There is an auto/truck accessory place on West Tennessee also. they may have what you need.

It's a windguard/rain shield. They get torn off all the time in carwashes. That's why you need a professional detailer that does everything by hand  I can get you one at cost if you're interested. I'll even install FOC if you like. You have to peel the old strip off before installing the new one or it wont stick. This usually requires a heatgun and some acetone. Let me know if I can be of assistance
