Just When I Thought I Might Go Fishing Again...

Post by big bend gyrene »

This year has brought the least number of fishing trips for me since moving to the area in 2002 with one challenge after another, some good (adoption of daughter)... and some bad... wouldn't you know just as I'm planning a few October trips out... :smt012 :smt012 :smt012

I live in the Lloyd area and it appears we had a tornado form in the area (talking to neighbors sounds like it never completely touched down in our subdivision but was very close to the ground)... looking on the bright side, at least trees fell the best direction possible.

Also happy it appears no one in area hurt, and on a serious note we all can have disaster strike in an instant. I followed Welby's posts earlier in the year and all things said I feel very thankful and blessed. It's just, %#^$*@+!, I want to go fishing! :smt010

It will get better bud, I know how you feel. Late 2007/Early 2008 was extreemly rough for me. That black cloud will move away from you, but sometimes it feels like it never will. At least everyone is ok. We had a tornado hit our neighbor hood in December and although the house wasn't damaged the cleanup was hard. If you need some help, holler at me. I would be happy to make a roadtrip to help out a nice guy.

Did NOT hit the boat, Barhopr... and definitely a positive  Guess theoretically I still have means to get out if I ever get an open day again... and seriously, I bet I went out on about 20 trips last year to maybe 3 or 4 this year, so got the fever really bad :smt009 Don't mind the hard work (have always liked outdoor work)... just don't like the never getting a break part

At least they're not on the house.
I did the same thing last year, working every weekend but this too shall pass. Hang in there, if you need me to I can send my dad down there, he missed his calling as a pulp wooder.

John, let us know if we can do anything. I'm sure most of us have chainsaws or can get them.

The wind almost blew down my house too, the palm trees were really swaying about two years ago and I no longer felt safe there.

SO I got this sweet condo and no longer worry.

I live in the little Orange one. It was blue when I moved in but these folks in Wakulla County like to pee outside off the porch and stained it Orange.
