After a chance run in with a tarpon in marathon this summer, my 8wt east branch is now a broken relic. I have been thinking about going all out with a Sage Xi2; if anyone has anything to say about the Xi2 or has a more economically sound suggestion to offer, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Only your arm will tell you what to get - go cast them all and make a decision on the one you cast the best.

I personally like TFO rods and Scott rods. That is all I have experience with. i have a 6,8 and a 12 TFO TiCrX if you want to come up to lake seminole sometime to try out. I'm near Wingates Lodge so I'm not that far from Quincy.
