HOW ARE THEY BITTEN,OR CATCHIN RIGHT NOW?

TAKEN SOME FRIENDS NEXT WEEKEND, THEY WANT TO CATCH SOME FISH. ONE IS AN ELDERLY MAN SO I CANT HIT NORMAL SPOTS. THAT AND I HAVENT BEEN IN MONTHS SO I NEED TO STAY KIND OF CLOSE. I THANK YOU FOR ANY INFO

There are Trout and Reds on the flats around Piney Island I caught the Reds on a topdog and the wife caught the Trout on a white/green tailed shrimp jig, under a cajun thunder "about 18 inches". The Reds where in 6" to 24" of water and the trout mainly came from around 2 to 4 foot of water, all on a hard falling tide Good Luck

PS: We only stayed out there for around 3 hours and throwed back around 6 trout. Here is the pic from yesterday, biggest red is 26" and biggest trout is 22" "other two are 19 & 20"
