Panacea Report 10.21.08

Post by billch »

My son was in for fall college break and we fished Tuesday before he got on the plane to go back to school.
We fished in front of Piney for trout that were there last week, but only caught small ones. We caught some pinfish for bait so we could fish a little for reds before putting the boat on the trailer.
He caught these two reds very quickly on the out going tide in front of the Ochlocknee River.
One was 9 lbs and the other was 30 lbs. according to the fish weight calculator. It was 42" long, a beauty.
What a fight on a beautiful day. He was happy and flying back to school by 5PM.
We recently moved here and I'm learning about saltwater fishing. All I can say is WOW. I really like this website!
