It's that time again! Both teams in the top 10, SEC East on the line, national championship well in sight. The fact that BOTH teams hung 50+ points on LSU's Defense would suggest a high scoring game, but I thing it will be lower than expected. Saving a prediction for later. Go Gators!!!!

I'm hoping this one will be one of the more memorable for sure. The SEC's two top scoring offenses and not too shabby defenses. However, Corso has decided to travel to Texas instead of Jax. No respect from ESPN.

Let's hope that a lot of Georgia's scoring last week was due to LSU's marginal offense turning the ball over so much...

As for this week's game:

I can guarantee that there isn't a Gator around that has forgotten how the high and mighty and hypocritical Mark Richt orchestrated a scheme for his players to rush the field. Talk about sportsmanship...

I know that Georgia would do anything to make the rivalry relevant again, but that must have been for the benefit of their fans and players only.

See, when someone asks me who Florida's biggest rival is, this is my response, "Beating Florida State is fun, beating Tennessee is fun, but beating Georgia is business". I know Florida has virtually owned Georgia in this game since the start of the Spurrier era; however, this matchup is still the "it" game for the Gators.

Florida is playing the best spread option ball since Urban Meyer got there, and the timing couldn't be better.

If I'm the Florida coaches, I'm showing last year's endzone celebration right before taking the field this year.

Expect to see an angry group of Gators! Tech says "To Hell with Georgia". The Gators say "The trip their should be particularly painful". Let's send the dirty dawgs whimpering back to Athens yet again!

As far as the celebration from last year, I am glad Meyer is playing it down and not making a big deal about it publicly. With that being said, I hope he has it playing on loop in the locker room 24/7 this week just to stoke the fire. I don't want to see UF do anything in retaliation though, I would just rather the scoreboard do the talking.

All you guys can remember is the celebration ?????? Can't you remember all the smack talk before the game by the mighty GATOR's or how we laid the smack down on Super Tebow ????? Yes, we shut him down....How bout the scoreboard at the end of the game ??????? GET OVER THE CELEBRATION !!!!

Enough about last year or Ya'lls favorite topic, the last ten or whatever years.......

Saturday should be a good one, at least I hope it will be. I'll be cooking ribs on the smoker and having friends over for the game (yes, some will be gator fans). I will be rooting for the Bulldogs for sure, but at the end of the game I will respect what the scoreboard says and move on....As soon as it's over I'll be looking forward to next years game. No matter what the results of this years game are.. It's GA VS FLA...enjoy it. The celebration was last year, if ya'll score a touchdown feel free to celebrate or do whatever gators do....the celebration is no different than that silly chomp chomp thing ya'll do. We can talk about the record of the last few years or the record of the WHOLE history of the rivalry till we are blue in the face....does it really matter come 3:30 Saturday ?????

May the best team win, and when it's over I'll promise no whining on my end if the Gators win

Well said Welby. I've heard nothing but trash out of the Gators last year and its perking back up this year. The celebration was just an outpouring of excitement, because the boys knew they had come to play and they would not be denied. They were not denied.

I expect this year to be a close game and I expect Georgia to win out again, even with all of its injuries. Why, because the team is hungry again, just like last year. As old coach Bazemore used to say, boys its time to shut the mouth, tighten the chin strap and kick some tail.

May they have a great game with no serious injuries.
