It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: Dubble Trubble, how's the wifes cancer
We went to the Oncologist in Tallahassee today. They are going to start chemo next week to try to shrink the tumor. It is the size of a honeydew melon. If the chemo is good then around Christmas, they are going to try and remove it and then another round of chemo. She has a big battle to fight, since it is already in the advanced stages.....
She spent 10 days in the hospital recovering from surgery, and when they found the tumor, they stopped and did nothing until an Oncologist could take over. We were expecting just an ovarian cyst removal, so it kinda hit us like a brick wall....
Pathology was sent to Harvard Medical School because they could not find any hits locally on what type it was. The outcome of that could also change everything....for the good or the bad. We should know about that by the weekend.
Thanks for the prayers, and I will keep you informed.....

Re: Dubble Trubble, how's the wifes cancer
You both are in my thoughts. 7 years ago my father was diagnosed with cancer. It was in the base of his tongue and had moved to, and ruptured a lymph node in his neck. They gave him less than a 5% chance of survival....
He went through massive doses of Chemo and Radiation for a period of months and is now 100% cancer free and has been for the past 6yrs. You are right, there is a tough road ahead. But after witnessing what my father went through, I have complete faith that even the most serious of cases can be overcome.
He now provides assistance to those who need more understanding about the road ahead. Please feel free to PM me if you would like his phone number.
