I see this ticket almost being like husband & wife in a sense. She's going to keep McCain in line and although respect him as the "decision maker", still get her $.02 in when there is questionable doubt and make him consider the options as to make the best decision. She was definately the perfect fit for this ticket.......Kudos again to McCain

Re: I'm calling it tonight!!!!
Getting some of the Hillary disgruntled is going to be just an added bonus. More important than Hillary's gals, the conservative base got what they needed to fire them up about wanting to support McCain. We got a gun carrying, fish catching, moose shooting, snow mobile riding, outdoor, baby wanting, mom to a soldier (who enlisted on his own)
She's the "Total Package"

Re: I'm calling it tonight!!!!
I still stand by this. The media has done a good job of hyping up the Obama polling numbers. That's all Obama has been....hype. No experience and no clear sense of direction. No record to run on and no record of any significant accomplishments worthy of presidential credibility. Obama's associates and bad judgements of character speak volumes about his character as a president. The polling stats are not used to reflect an election, but are used to influence one. I've thought throughout the entire campaign that McCain supporters are just waiting till election day to make their statement in the voting booth where it counts the most. Americans are pissed on both sides. The difference is that some have been waiting for a handout and others have been striving for a handup. The handout comes from the government, the handup comes from the government getting out of the way and allowing us to "spread our wealth" as we see fit to do. I don't feel that the majority in America is ready to go down the road of socialism. I dont feel that the majority of Americans are ready to see us leave Iraq before the job is finished...whether it was the right or wrong thing to do. Our troops deserve all the support we can give them. I believe the majority of Americans still believe in life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness...their own happiness, not what the government can provide. McCain will not be the best president we've ever had, but I believe that he will surround himself with good counsel and he will keep the best interest of our country first. McCain has given the majority of his life in service to this country and I have no choice but to trust him and Governor Palin with it.dolphinatic wrote:One word for the "Uh"bama campaign........

Take a moment to say a prayer for our nation. She is going to need it today regardless of the outcome

The media has attempted to make conservatives think the race is already lost and there is no sense to get out and vote. I am hearing most folks say they are going to get out and vote to prove the media wrong. A few are whimping out and not voting. I think McCain will squeak by today. I sure hope so.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Good Luck to...
