Wil and I went there today after work. Some HUGE deals to be had. Wil stocked up on Quicksilver Synthetic oil $28 per 2.5 gallons, regularly $42. And some faannypack inflatable life vests reg $99 for $45.
I got a Shimano Baitrunner 4500 on a 7ft Star Rod for $135. Reg $200.
Guy Harvey T's are $10, $160 Costa Del Mar sunglasses down to $85.

Damn, I knew there was something I was supposed ta do today

It was a special invite that went out to their "best customers" for the past year. I don't know what the minimum amount you had to spend there this year was, but I spent about 3 grand this year. But I made out like a bandit at the sale. I stocked up on all kinds of things and averaged a 50% discount. When these "Super Sales" happen, the cynic in me is not impressed.
The Company (West Marine, on this occasion) will make a profit on the items, even at the 50% off price.
Just think how much profit they make at the normal prices, for the rest of the year.
When the sale is on, end of line, slightly damaged items etc. its more genuine and less a case of extracting the urine.
