Yes, that's also a good way to catch reds. I don't see why an 18' boat wouldn't work for this, the tide just needs to be a little higher. Glad you got out.

I caught a limit of trout and a few shorts wading out in front of Live Oak Island late this morning on the negative low. Nothing big. Getting a little chilly to be wet wading with the wind blowing.

I fished Saturday all day with topwater and it was rough as a cob.
