Wonderful time at the "Warrior"
The commrad said the magic words leave your wallet at the house and lets go It's on me. Let me think for a second OK!
Left what I thought was late but the water had just came in followed the guide out at his invite but stopped en route.
The place smelled like a brim bed I throw and hook up he throws and hooks up double on the 1st cast "Forgetaboutit."
Mine throws the hook but we are there we keep hooken and cooken at one point he hooks five in five casts.
Many shorts some keepers very quick action with some blacks and a blue mixed in pretty cool so far.
We head to where Jazbo wanted us and it is so slow we did pick up 1 or 2 but we left a good bite for a bad one.
That was our 1st mistake # 2 was thinking it was time to hit the bars & some of the creeks to the 1st bend.
Bait everywhere tide flowing out and while I saw a fish or two move I only got one bite on a spinner bait and lost it.
Clock ticking and we run back towards the Warrior we drop off plane and in 15 minutes we ad a hefty red & 2 Trout.
The rain started and we hauled butt I was out of time loaded up and hauled tail to brooks county in time for church.
8 Trout 1 Black 1 Blue & a fine Red on ice the Red helped redeem him he had only put one Trout in the box till that Red.
Frenzied fun fast and what a joy I haven't been in two months so what an ice breaker boy they are cooking.
Straight jig, jig & cork, jerk bait really everything we tried worked other than the Skiterwalk missed only one on it.
Wish I could go again tommorrow.
