Nov 9th out of Econfina

Post by Carlabear »

Left the river about 800 and started trolling south southwest in 20feet. No bites till we got to 30 feet then wham ..... medium size king fish hit ... finally some action. There were birds all over the place flying and sitting on the water. Caught several rock bass also trolling hit a chartruse stretch 30. Fished 4 lines , very little grass out 16 miles and ended up with 8 gags. 22 to 30 inch size with several throwbacks. Great day on the water especially since our depth finder is out of order . All our grouper were caught in 30 + feet due to known area numbers on gps and depths we know.

The action was scattered during the day with no major time noted but most in afternoon in the deeper water. :smt006

Some fish were also caught on the rapala lure : black and silver . We had a great day and the seas were perfect.... water clarity was good . :D

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
