Enjoyed the read JT. I'll never get tired of a good "ramp" encounter. Glad you got 'em!

That's the holiday spirit JT :smt005

Great fishing!

I think I need to start a lawn chair and drinks concession at the boat ramps on holidays.
What was I supposed to do today?

Great report, JT. Didn't just wear out the fish, but got some entertainment to boot.

Funny story. I must admit though that I am not amused by not telling someone that their plug is not in. That lets a fool put himself in the danger zone.
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

Maybe...Maybe not...MD.... I have done the same more than once and still here to tell the story.
Last time was just a few months ago.( and reported on this website).
If I live long enough from other perils I will probably do it again.

Negative lows at Anky over the weekend made for some interesting episodes at the ramp and navigating the river...it was even shallow for the mudboat.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I ain't gonna beat you over the head, but that water is really cold and I sure would hate to get swamped into it. If it had been me, I would have said something and hoped they ignored me. Then I would have had no guilt whatsoever. :-D
