11/26 Trout

[Littoral]

Had a half day of work and a lot of fishing to catch up on. I paddled to where
my mind had repeatedly imagined they'd be (for the last 5 weeks) and caught a Blue with the first cast. Ok.
Next 50 casts (at least) were 18-24 inch trout. My earnest effort to keep count got confused after 27.
It didn't matter by then. Awesome.
I paddled back to put a limit in my cooler and decided to look elsewhere for reds. I found 3 about 18" and
more trout, mostly 16-18". It was late in the day so I tried topwater and sure enough the trout wanted it.
I closed the day at my original spot and picked up a couple more trout just over 20.
