JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW THAT THE YATES CREEK BRIDGE JUST NORTH OF KEATON BEACH IS OUT . SOMEONE BURNED A STOLEN TRUCK ON THE BRIDGE AND EVERYTHING ENDED UP IN THE CREEK INCLUDING HALF THE BRIDGE.ANYONE PLANNING ON PUTTING IN AT YATES CREEK MAY NEED TO PLAN AN ALTERNATE ACCESS POINT.

There is not a ramp at Yates Creek. It is essentially a tidal creek with a decent place to push out (not really launch) a small boat. There is not much slope to the place where people put in, just the natural slope with a lot of oysters/rocks on the bottom. If one wanted to fish that area in other than a 14' john boat or a kayak, put in at Keaton or Dekle Beach and head north or Spring Warrior and head south.
