Levy Bay 12/4/08

Post by tin can »

Barhopr and I spent the day fishing the levy Bay area. Not much to tell. We landed 2 reds and had a couple more on. Had a good lunch at Hook Wreck Henry's.

A good day with good company.............except I thought I was going to have to spend the night at the ramp.

Enjoyed it, Barhopr. Can't wait to do it again.
What was I supposed to do today?

I wont throw TC under the bus, I'll just say that we covered a lot of ground, took a wave in the boat, locked the keys in the truck while on the ramp with the boat on the trailer with the truck running. Only fish we found were on the only grass we could find that did not have breaking waves on it. Saw lots of Oyster bars with no fish on them and a lot of mud bottomthat looked like the surface of the moon. that being said, i had a good time and would more than likely do it again. Oh and the bright spot was that Hookwreaks has $3/doz. oysters. mighty tasty :lick: go get you some

I heard it was a long day in the short grass but I didn't hear about the truck keys.
Glad you boys got out there 'cause it sure wasn't any fun in my office.

Sounds like experience is talking loud, clear, and often Tin Can. Been there, done that myself on the keys.

Barhopr should have come around the bend. I had your dad in the boat with me and the trout bite was on!
