Econfina area 12-6-08

Fished Econfina with Upthecreek from Jacksonville and Aubill. Aubill went west and we went east. First thing in the morning I landed a 20.5 Trout on Speckled Trout Super Spook with two treble hooks and no middle hook. We went further east after a boat came up our stove pipe. But to no avail, it was like a shadow was on us, until we shook him off. UTC stayed east and as I headed west I ran into Topdogjr and he had just landed a nice 27" redfish with a Capt Mike Spoon. He said they worked for him. Went further west and Aubill had been slaying the trout mostly in the 18"-20" slot. He probably caught 70 by himself before I got there cause he caught another 30+ while I was fishing with him. I caught a bunch and UTC and myself kept 5 a piece and cooked them up for dinner along with a nice 24" Redfish. We were kinda hungry after fishing from dusk to dawn and catching loads of trout and a few reds.
