HM Sunday

Post by striperguy17 »

Fished for a couple of hours on sunday and ran into a couple of redfish on the flats. 3 reds on the day to 23" but we could have legally kept all of them. Fish were in water 2-3 ft deep on sand and mud bottom. Had our best luck with the last part of the outgoing tide and decided to not wait on the incoming later in the afternoon. Have exams this week but am going to try to get back out once more before I head up to virginia.

sounds good jon. floated around the state park on thursday wevans and found no sign of life except for a couple of 1lb - 1.5lb largemouth. sure is deep in places though. Im looking for stripes and big blue catfish when I get home on the lower rappahannock. I hear they are around but fishing has been slow.
