I updated my Mapsource software yesterday using the garmin web updater. I do this just about every time I use it. This time however the new version (6.14.1) broke my bluecharts.
Garmin changed the rendering engine for the maps and the new version of Mapsource does not work with older versions of Bluecharts. I have version 6.5. I had to contact customer support and get them to give me the previous version of Mapsource and reinstall.
Just beware when updating. Your mileage may vary.
