1st Ducks
My 10 year old son shot his 1st ducks today. A flight of 7 greenwing teal came over and he dropped the lead drake. Later, after a couple of practice shots, he crushed a drake woodduck that banked in front of the blind. Looks like we'll be headed to the taxidermist. What a great day!

Glad to see you got a few. Yesterday morning I wish I would have had the shotgun with me in the deer stand. The ducks were everywhere and flying low....just along the treeline. All I could do is watch

Awesome, he will never forget that morning. My boy has a great woodduck drake on his wall to help him remember his first as well!

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
