Thanks fellows.

I think it is probably one of the links that DS provided. It was made in the late 60's ... I'll have to examine it closer for model info. The cross bar (tube) that the level wind travels on has a dent in it that causes a drag when the leveler hits that spot.

Sr, you need to throw that old 6000 away and buy a new one. But, when you throw it away, swing by my house and throw it in my trash can.
