OB area Dec 18, 2008

Post by jsuber »

Went out of Oyster Bay area with Flounderpounder looking for Trout and ended the night with this 25"Red caught on a Super Spook. FP had just commented that the fish were not around, and I yelled back, they are here, we just ain't found them and BOOM DADDY! Big boy hit on and Oyster bar and it was on in the dark. He looked a lot bigger in the dark. Fat little Red was hauled back in the livewell in the back of my kayak to the truck where I left my camera, took a picture then released him to be caught another day. Nice night of fishing for only one fish, but it was beautiful out there when the planets came out before the stars.
