new to fl. gulf flats fishing. can some one please tell me when in the spring things pick up ??
this is a great site for a new flats fisherman such as myself.appreciate all help!!

They are picked up now it is rocken. Four trips in four weeks all good a couple great.
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?

This time in my opinion is the best time of the year to catch fish...finding them is the key once you find them it's usually on.

Don't click the triangle thingy, it's to report someone for being bad - WAM can do that on his own :-D

Welcome!... i'm also new to winter fishing here. I managed to take my kids fishing this past weekend east of the Lighthouse and they caught black seabass and a couple nice speckled trout. But be warned if the forecast says fog. I had never experienced that on the water, but thank God I had a new navigational device and took time to pre-program my route. It was spooky how I couldn't keep my bearings without navigational aids. Have a compass and GPS in those cases is my advice.
