Late Keaton report 12/30/08
Took a couple of saltwater newbie friends along thinking that I would show them how to catch a mess of trout. Well, we were one day late and one dollar short (or something like that). Fished hard from 8.30 am to a little after 3.00 pm and caught 7 with 4 being keeper. Oh well, that's why they call it fishing and not catching. Tried 2-3' water for quite a while as I have heard good reports in that depth but didnt even had a bite. Most fish were caught on 4-5' of slightly stained water. Most fish were caught using pinfish which were still plentifyl. For those of you who are heading coastal this weekend, I would suggest to try deeper water first before moving shallow. Good luck to you and Happy New Year to all.

Thanks for the report, I was planning on heading that way tomorrow.
