Also fishing blind 1/3/09

Post by WaltDawg »

I wasn't going to post anything, but I thought I'd share my story about the fog.

Millertime called and woke me up at first light (11 AM) and said he wanted to take his buddy Brad to HM. Even after the slow bite yesterday, I couldn't resist. Got there at 1:00 and there was lots of water.

I was hoping for reds myself, but only ended up with their smaller spotted cousins. The trout bite got hot about an hour before high tide. Glad you got a nice stringer Brad. Maybe next time we'll be able to see a little better.

Man that fog was bad. If you didn't have electronics, you didn't have a chance. Even though you can see the horizon, you couldn't see more than 50 ft at most.

Tell me about it, we got turned around and with the GPS, I would've ended up in Mexico.

Thanks for the report, it's nice to know somebody that catches fish.
