Sundown, are you still enjoying your boat? What are the pro's and con's of the aluminum hull? My cousin is looking at 1860 Redfish Special.

FRP, I ran it yesterday for the first time in 6 weeks. I like it.. Can't see trading it for anything else. Optimax is the most fuel efficient mortor I ever had. Boat is prerfect for creeks and shallow water. That 1860 might be a little handier for the creeks and close in flats. I could be happy with either one..
Boat rides fine in choppy water. Its dry. all around fishing boat. Again, I can't think of any other boat I'd rather have for my kind of fishing.
