Ochocknee River Report 1-17

Post by Talltails »

Today was the coldest day of the winter so far. Figuring the last couple days of cold weather has changed the fishing patterns, Flounderpounder and I decided to check out some river fishing. When it gets this cold, I've had success by just slowing everything down. Today was no different. On the incoming tide, we caught fish. We caught sheesphead, flounder, reds, and even the largemouth bass got in on the action. Though the temps were down, with the sun out, it turned into a beatiful day. We saw three boats all day--I love winter fishing 8)

That's a fine day of fishing WD. Sounds like you and FP put on a clinic!

Stay out of that part of the river. I like running aground over that way.
