St. Andrew Bay (1-17-09)

Post by FlatCrazy »

Got a new bottom machine for Christmas and wanted to try it out bottom fishing in St. Andrew Bay. Went to several deep holes I have had luck with in the past and ended up catching 8 black grouper. Only one was legal measuring a hair over 25". :smt004 Also caught some really nice silver/sand trout. Several to 15". Not sure if others eat them, but the meat on those silver trout are as white as the grouper :lick: . Caught all the grouper on live silver trout, caught the silver trout on cut fresh market shrimp on 3/8 oz jig heads.

I have to say that my new Humminbird 525 machine works well. :D
