2008 Review
Well, the first three weeks of 2009 have been a living nightmare at the office. I have fished once this year. Painful.
Anyways, I have finally come up for air and went back and did the 2008 year in review last night. I learned a lot of things in 2008:
(1) Tarpon fishing is a disease. It pollutes your mind. It absorbs your being. It's bad stuff. I want more. Lots more.
(2) It is a hell of a lot easier to punish redfish in the skinny stuff with a buddy on the push pole as opposed to me and my troller. It also helps to do it in a boat that drafts 4 inches of water. Thanks Bill.
(3) I took way too few pictures with my own camera. Bill owns a Nikon D80. A D80 is a hell of a camera. Bill has lots of pictures. I don't. Thanks Bill.
(4) I did not shoot any video footage this year. Shame on me.
(5) We are blessed with an amazing fishery. Let's preserve it.
With all that being said, here is a short slideshow that is lacking of video footage and plentiful pics (see items 3 and 4 above):

Nolefisher, Sweet work. I was snoopin through your pics and came across some Grizzly Crabs on the table. Could you hook me up with a pattern. Also, how does the deer hair weed guard work out. Looks pretty slick.

Times 5 in 2009 But, a few tails to chase so put that 12 out of your mind for a few more months

Thanks all.
The deer hair weed guard is mediocre at best. It's hard to beat 20lb Mason.
