Obama's First Day...

Post by Littoral »

The bright side is that a lot more people are really paying attention.
It’s our responsibility to hold every administration accountable for what they do and don’t do. That responsibility includes keeping up with facts, as best we can sort out what they really are. That’s not easy.

DAY ONE
WASHINGTON — President Obama moved swiftly on Wednesday to impose new rules on government transparency and ethics, using his first full day in office to freeze the salaries of his senior aides, mandate new limits on lobbyists and demand that the government disclose more information.

...and retook the oath of office! :-D
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

No, I don't expect many people to have a rational (informed) discussion.
It would be the patriotic thing to do.

Chief Justice Roberts did apologize for messing up the oath.

It did not take long for him to change a few rules for his Muslim brothers. Shut down GitMo. Shut down any CIA jails overseas.
I just wonder how long it will be till we see dead Americans killed by his Muslim buddies in our streets. Thanks Mr. President.

Once a Muslim. Always a Muslim.

Now that's the funniest thing I've seen all day

Wait a minute......I take that back. Obama not knowing his "own" Presidential Executive Order to close Gitmo might have been better  Asking his attorney in front of the press if there would be any other Executive Orders for future detainees because he had no idea of the process was classic! Talk about being a puppet. Now dang it, there I go again not giving him a chance and hoping he succeeds :smt011 Honestly though, I almost feel bad for Obama because he has got so many people pulling his strings right now, he can't keep all the political paybacks straight. Closing Gitmo was the first of many to come. At least he has alot of Clinton's former staff to guide him along. He'll get used to the routine in due time. Get ready, this train has left the station salute1
