Stank Scratchmee # II

[What a mess]

Got there a little later than I had hoped 2 and ran right back to them I hook up the boats around me are hooking up it looks cool.

It is windier than forcasted and colder too, the tide is ripping in a different direction than yesterday.

My able bodied red headed buddy announces this is B.S. to many boats not enough action lets go to "That creek".

I say you'll be sorry but I'll see what you know we hit a secret hole outside 2 footers can't stand up no bites at all.

We go in there and we are not alone boats yes fish no the usual holes and a big fat zero was the result for our efforts.

We went deeper than I ever have before in the creek and saw fish they couldn't catch us or our baits as we blew by.

We rode back to the big river and got on yesterdays hole I saw a fish or two caught and was told they bit good earlier.

Went to the suicide hole and got one hit there and just was done, a long hard day, one short within the first twenty minutes.

I had a plan I have never deep water cold weather river fished before I did ok yesterday and got talked out of my game plan today.

Going back in the morning I will not be talked out of my plan I will give the fish a chance to talk to me but I am sticking to the plan.

If I am wrong so be it I wil learn from that, I learned today I am a better captain / researcher than I knew I did what / where was working.

I was catching the fish on a curly tail gulp grub and a pink mirror lure I put the two together & I got the one fish today on a pink curly tailed gulp grub.
