St. Andrews Pass 1-25

Post by BayGator »

Got a chance to go over to the pass Sunday and try the bull reds out. We got some bait and anchored up on the west side just down from the kiddie pool and caught some nice reds on light tackle that stretched our lines good! Nice relaxing day and it was beautiful out!

Fist one of the day..........a little one for St. Andrews Pass standards. (His tail was mangled up bad)

When the school finally started to eat, we all got in on the fun!

This one had a major hunk taken out of his side but was still a good fighter

Some of the cooler spots I have seen on a redfish. They were the same on both sides.

It was a really fun day and a nice break from sitting in a treestand and being quiet all the time. The boat we were on was my buddies 31' Yellowfin with twin yamaha 300's. I had never been 65mph on the water until today, it will tighten you up a little bit going that fast on the water but it was way cool!!!!

nice pics, and it looks like a blast. Those are some beat up bruisers though; pass life must be rough

31 Yellowfin is a sweet ride!
