The old Fisherman
Dave is getting his boat ready to put into the water for day of fishing. He notices an older man who has already put his boat in and is parking his truck. Dave watches as the old man takes his walker out and starts making his way to his boat which he has previously docked and gotten ready to head out. Dave makes his way to the older gentleman and asks if he can help the elderly man. He also inquires why the old fella doesn’t have anyone fishing with him. The old man says “well I have always brought my wife with me and she has recently died”. Dave says “sorry to hear that, but I’m sure you could have gotten either your children or grand children to come with you, or maybe a friend”. The old man stops and looks at Dave and says, “Well I would have but they are all at the funeral”!!!!
I come from a small drinking community with a fishing problem

I think I'm kin to that old guy!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
